Every Disabled Child Matters – a new campaign

Every Disabled Child Matters (EDCM) is a new campaign to support the rights of disabled children, young people and their families. The aims are to ensure that all disabled children and their families get the right services and support they need to live ordinary lives.

The EDCM campaign is the initiative of four organisations working with disabled children and their families – Contact a Family, Council for Disabled Children, Mencap and the Special Educational Consortium. It is focused on England but will be supporting activity in the other UK nations, as well as campaigning on non-devolved issues such as benefits.
