The latest newsletter has just been issued together with a case study about making Early Support accessible to families who don't read English for whatever reason.
Healthcheck, the Early Support roadshow, is still touring the country during spring and summer this year. It aims to raise awareness of Early Support among health professionals. There is also an associated booklet and poster. See the schedule of visits on our news page.
It's interesting how many times we hear that the Early Support approach can - and should - be applied to adults. So we were pleased to see that view aired in an article in Headway News autumn 2007 where the author explained what an Early Support service could have achieved for her brain-injured husband. See the Press reports section of the Making a difference page.
There’s more good news for Early Support. The Sure Start grant allocations specifically mention training to use Early Support as the way to work with young disabled children, while the DCSF makes the same point in a new resource pack. Read about both issues on our news page.
